Travel to NYE

Hey there,

We are nearing the end of the year! Are you ready for 2026?

This year, since we are in town, we decided to visit the United Flight 173 Memorial in Portland. This marks the 47th anniversary (happened on December 28th, 1978).

We didn’t see anyone else, but someone had stopped by and laid a wreath before we arrived.

Later that day, we took a trip to Home Depot. Had to get a patch for a newly made hole in the wall. Yes, another one. This one happened to be caused by Elijah kicking his heel into our wall while fighting with his sister.

Why not!?

For Christmas, Luca received an automated bear that he loves. He carries it everywhere and calls it his baby. Ezra has his own bear that he likes to keep with him, while Luca has his own. It’s cute. I took a photo of this, when they both decided to show them off to me in the section above.

We then made the trip down to Sacramento. Picked up our rental car and headed to Fogo De Chao for New Year’s Eve (we had a gift card left over from Ezra/Sky/my dad’s birthday), and it was just enough to cover dinner.
