Hey
So the other day I got to hang out with Sarah Wheeler. Last night in fact, she was all tired- but made some time out of her 18 – 19 hours of driving with her family to hang out with me.
She’s great :o)
Happy Birthday to you (in 10 minutes.. so by the time anyone reads this, it will be her birthday). She ain’t bad either haha ;o) Leave her some comments.
Kaysie is able to go to Nepal, I think that’s wonderful, fantastic even. Yes.. Fan-tastic.
Tonight I hung out with Dustin, Francisco, JJ, and Emily. A combination that I haven’t been around in over 4 years. It was neat and I enjoyed it (all except jamming my fingers). We played a few games of basketball, it was fun (Emily couldn’t because she came with work clothes etc).
So I am done with my first week of interning. It has went well.. I have a few projects that I have started and will continue to work on over the summer. I like the atmosphere of working at Central, it is relaxed and yeah you don’t deal with a lot of some bad stuff you might have to deal with at a regular job. It isn’t perfect but neither is any person.
Talked to my parents, and more news about my brother and Alexis and jazz. Turns out that the doctors do not believe the story my brother told them (not a big surprise at all). So for the next few days they took custody away from my brother and his wife of Alexis and Hailey.
Fun fun. It is ironic because just today I was thinking about that and added the whole situation to a prayer request thing. Ah well. So the child protection services and the doctors are going to do an investigation on what happened. They will go to my brothers house and go over all the events and see if they match up (because what he told them doesn’t).
God works in weird ways sometimes. I turn my phone off from vibrating and everything so I select the All Off thing so I don’t know when a call is incoming. So I took my lunch really late today… at like 12:45 instead of 12 like I normally take it. I go to open my phone to make a call and one of my friends (unknown to me) was calling in. The friend was going through some trouble and needed someone to tell them that what was going on wasn’t ok. They called me for that reason. Ironic.
Like a puzzle… it just fits.
Anyway, I guess that is it for now. I kinda have plans for the weekend…
Friday I gotta go to the church and pick up some video equipment so I can record the training session on Saturday. Then Saturday morning I go to the training session… and Sunday evening I help out with Joining Centrals Family class thingy.
Other than in those spots.. I’ll be free. Oh and I forgot to say that yesterday (Wednesday evening) we had a storm come through and give us some rain. Not a lot- just enough to make my car dirty.
“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is,, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward.” 1 Corinthians 3:11-14
