3 years & 3 weeks

Time is still going by really fast and I haven’t adjusted to the new schedule yet. To be honest I’m still somehow on hospital time (up random times throughout the night and losing track of time). I actually forgot what day it was yesterday and forgot to take the garbage out. Days kind of run together and they go by extremely fast!
My sweet girl has been having some behavior issues (which we expected)… like painting her bed with hand soap and randomly ransacking the kitchen for bread (seriously… why won’t she eat the cereal lol).
But she loves/adores/ dotes on her baby brother. Seriously at this point she won’t leave him alone. She is constantly kissing and hugging and checking in on him. She always wants to hold him or rock him or help feed or diapers him. She is such a sweetheart when it comes to her brother!
I am so proud of her for being such a big helper! She is an awesome big sister!!!
Baby brother is still a little yellow but it has faded a lot! He’s been eating like CRAZY! I’ve started pumping a little to give myself a break.
We have also gone through all but half of a box of our newborn diapers… yeah I forgot how many we would go through! It’s been insanely crazy! We have decided we are still huggies people though! We’ve also been sampling wipes. This week we were able to be on the panel for seventh generation. They sent us a bunch of samples. I didn’t prefer the diapers but the wipes were awesome. We had been using the amazon wipes but they would leave little wite pieces on his bum. The amazon ones weren’t wet enough to really get all the poo cleaned up. Usually (like I said) we are huggies people (it’s hard not to be loyal to huggies). These wipes though were so nice. They were soft and wet enough to actually clean.
This month is going to be busy! We have been trying to visit museums and we may go to a concert this coming Sunday!
And then the following week (Father’s Day weekend) Jays parents are coming out Friday night and then Jacquee will be visiting! So we will have lots of visitors!
The 19th Elijah will have his one month check up and the following week I have a checkup and Jay has a dental appointment! We are keeping busy! Before we know it July will be here!
I’m going to try and get thank you cards out before July (fingers crossed).
Love this early sibling stage 🙂 the tie was a nice idea for little monster’s pictures. He looks healthy and happy as does your little lady. You’ve been blessed as I have with these wonderful lives.
P.s. have you tried huggies wipes? That is what i use…i like the thicker wipes – which matters more when solids start.
Yes!! We love the huggies! Just went to Costco and got some! We were just open to trying other brands (especially since we got them for free). But huggies are our go to diapers and wipes!
