hey!
So before heading back to Phoenix we decided to go to Universal again (remember, it’s an annual pass). Yeah, there are blackout dates, but it’s still worth it. This time when we went it was raining, and so after going to one of those events where you can take photos with a character (see the first photo) it really started to come down and we ended up taking cover under some shelter. Not long after that, we were surrounded by minions who were ooh and ahhing over Arabella. It was fitting because we also had recently gotten Ara a minions coat. We got some pretty good pictures of the whole thing. Ara was amazed by them.
Meanwhile back in Phoenix, we went about our month working. We made the best of things and even went to some more Coyotes games.
We finalized getting a new rental. It ended up being in the same complex as our old rental. This time we would be paying 770 but had gotten a little more square footage and a backyard (even if it is small, the other one had nothing). Jake loves it – in fact, if you look below you will see that one of his favorite things to do is go outside and lay in the warmth of the day.
For St. Patrick’s day, Arabella wore this cute shirt saying that she was Daddy’s lucky charm. Pretty accurate if you ask me. I think it should have said Daddy and Mommy’s lucky charm.
As luck would have it we also have been getting some rain here in the valley. It makes for some gorgeous photos of natural beauty. We were in Gold Canyon (over in east Mesa) and along some dirt road we were storm chasing. Anyway, after enjoying the rain we were left with some breathtaking views. Have a looksie. In one of the shots, we were even treated to a double rainbow.
