Hey

Been a little busy lately so I thought I would hop on here and do a quick update.

First off, I sold my car.  I listed it on Ebay and it sold— FINALLY.  I have been waiting to sell my car for quite a few months now.  I have been wanting to so that I would be able to pay off my debt a little quicker.  Not a ton quicker, but every bit helps.

By the grace of God, I found a car the same week, a 1991 Ford Probe (at my dad’s work) and overall in good shape, except some paint that was peeling and a part that needed to be replaced.. no more than a few hundred dollars worth of work.

The car?  $700.

So I was able to sell my car and get another one in the same week.  I still have the Cougar until later on this week when the new owners will pick her up.  No more “Sunshine”.  I still remember when we first got her… (click here)….

For the “new car” I needed new tires and for only a few hundred dollars I found some GT rims from a probe.. which makes it look a lot better than the hubcaps.

This is the side that was repainted- and that is how it looks without the hubcap.

Anyway.. that is what’s been keeping me busy.  It isn’t the best car I’ve owned, it is the cheapest- but a good deal and it will help me to pay off more of my student loans.

Soon…. I should be able to see the light on the other side of the tunnel for paying off these loans!

Also some good news.  JJ was in a hit and run (not like I haven’t been there before) and his car was totaled.  He was alright, and he too was able to find a car quickly.

Last thing..

Sports news…

Yankees played the Redsox this weekend, winning two of three.  It was a good weekend.  We have won 9 out of the last 10– starting to take form.
