hey
I saw a bumper sticker on the way to work this morning
“Jesus paid the debt for our sins”
I started to think that amongst the other unread bumper sticker – this guy was one of those guys. Crazy for it – in your face type of person. That was, until I read the text under it.
“so Let’s get our money’s worth”
I was amazed at the – matter of fact – poking fun at – that was given in the sticker. People amaze me, but then I thought as I pulled into the parking garage of my work that whoever made that – probably made a whole lot of money.
I then started to think about what that meant and I myself think that I am getting more than my “money’s worth” out of it. I started to think what others might take that as. Fun times? (etc Sex, Drugs.. heck the life of a Rockstar) – and We all just wanna be big rock stars.. right? A part of me should think thats true.
Anyway, getting back on subject I also started to think – how will that person justify that, on the day of judgement, in the midst of everything of his life. His or her. You get my point.
As for me, I don’t think I’ll be able to speak for my idle words I’ve spoken, or anything else in my life on that day when I’m being judged. I know I’m forgiven but also that I’ll give account for things in my life, but I have to keep reminding myself that the east is really far from the west.. sometimes my mind can’t quite grasp that whole ideal. Yet on the way home I was listening to a CD and this song came on.
I’ve been stuck on it, for many reason – but I really like the lyrics and beat of the song. If you have watched City of Angels as many times as I have, this song opens up and gives you the type of feeling the movie has. The way the guitar is played- sounds like something you would hear on the movie.
Anyway, I digress. Here it is. [click here]
just Pray.

Nice thoughts. Good read
