Coastal times

Long time since my last post, and I always have more stuff to talk about.

Mostly always.

This weekend I went down to Coos bay, OR with the family.  We stayed at a local Motel 6 (that’s right, we leave the light on for you.)  It was good– the whole weekend Portland was in the 90’s (very hot for Portland), and only that hot this weekend, Monday will be in the mid 80’s .. anywho.. on the Coast it was in the 50’s and 60’s.  Almost enough for a cover.

So that’s my mom & dad, …it was a little windy on this island we were on and very cool due to the marine layer I mean, look at all of the fog.  My dad got cold and covered up with… well none other than my cozy Yankees blanket.

“oh sure, I bet that’s a xanga worthy picture”

Yep dad, it was. hahaha

Today we drove the coast highway (101) and the temps couldn’t have been better.  60’s and 70’s.  In this picture we were trying to get down to the beach, we went over.. maybe a dozen bridges on our way back– and I liked the way this looked.

Oh my Gosh.. is that really me?  Yeah, it is.  That is proof that I am no longer working at Sears (but I did feel bad sitting on it) hahaha, Craftsman.. (even if it isn’t better).  So this was taken at a cheese factory (not Tillamook, but Blue Heron) a french company that also has a wine tasting section (I didn’t have any).  They had lots of good tasting stuff.

Woah, that’s a Lama!  Watch out they spit!  (as in the famous words of the Genie on Aladdin)  I took this picture because… I was like ‘his teeth, I can see them’

And finally meet

Billy.  The Goat.  Haha look, he smiled.  I said “CHEEZE”.  Okay… maybe not, but it works with the photo right?  The funny part was seeing my mom trying to pet ‘Billy’ the goat.  He looked like he wanted to bite her…. twice.

We came back in-town today.  Last night I had a convo with the bee meister.  (otherwise known as B squared).

So.. only one or two will understand this part: I saw Twiggy last night (miggy’s brother) and guess what?  After an hour of traveling this morning, we saw him again.  It was quite funny.

Update on school:  I should be able to at least take first semester (given the loans that the school said I can already get) 2nd semester is up in the air (depending if I get the private loan I am applying for).  So more on that in time.. tomorrow I will start school.. bookless.

This next part, was written for me.

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat!  Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.  Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy?  Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.”  Isaiah 55:1-2

Pray Hard, Seek Harder.
