Howdy-ho
Clarification: The email that I received yesterday confused me. Redcliffe emailed me and told me that they had gotten surprising amounts of money in my name. My initial reaction was.. ‘what? really??… could it be?’
The thoughts of Redcliffe were injected back into my mind, the possibilities…. Then I emailed them back asking where the money came from. I had very little to go on.
A few hours later (after I posted yesterday) I got an email from Central. They said that they send the funds of my award money to the wrong place… and that they are going to be getting it re-directed as soon as possible.
That was the news that had the potential to be big.
Cars: I have been looking around to see if I want to sell my Probe or not. I may… I am still pretty undecided. I have a friend who is interested in buying it, so I may sell it to her if she can come up with the money. Otherwise I might just hold on to it a bit longer.
News: This afternoon I got a call from my brother, and he told me that He and the Wife were going to travel down to Portland to visit, and surprise my parents. So I met up with them and led them the way home. My brother stepped out and made a loud noise.. haha my dad jumped. Fun times..
Plans: I don’t really have many plans for this weekend, well none right now other than keep up with how the Yankees are doing. I guess it works out, my brother will be in-town until Monday mid-day-ish.
Sports: Speaking of the Yankees, they won today. Twice, both against the Redsox. So in honor of them winning, I say this : Fan-tastic.
Friends: I have deleted some people off of my xanga/myspace/phonebook that have been listed for years. I am tired of keeping in contact with nothing ever happening. Is this wrong? To call and never be called back? Some very long friendships, I guess were just being made longer by me for no reason. No strings attached… eh?
Weather: It has been very warm here… like today it was 92, and for the next few days they expect anywhere from 90 to 94. Isn’t that crazy? Portland is over it’s average this year of 13 days over 90. (yes they only have 13 days on average over 90 degrees.. it sounds just as crazy when I hear it) Lucky for all people in the Northwest… it cools down nicely. It’s 1am now and 60-something outside.
Verse: “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.” Isaiah 55:6-7
