hey

so my stuff I just got done typing up was just lost… so I have to re-type all of it.

Wonderful! Not that I mind typing… but still.

So I have had an eventful last few days to kick off the New Year….

Lets recap :

Friday: The plan was that while visiting I would go back to Central with Orien. He was looking forward to it and I was excited. He tells me on Friday that he will not be going to church with me. After asking him why he told me that ‘I don’t want to go because I know I can’t change who I am, so why try’ I simply told him that Jesus wants him as he is. Later on he told me that he also thought it would be on Sunday (as another excuse) so I told him we could go on Sunday, but it didn’t matter to him after all.

Saturday: I picked up the car and went to church. Talked to Neil – In Depth about a few things that were on my mind.. I think everything will work out well 🙂 God is blessing me in many ways… this seems to be one of the ways. Saturday night I stayed over Lori’s parents house for New Years eve, and was up until the wee hours of the morning talking to Lisa about random things and subjects (until about 4:30 am).

Sunday: After waking up at 7ish I went to Oriens.. and the fun (as we know it) starts. I called him.. got to his house at 9:30ish and woke him up (so he could let me inside). I then went to hop in the shower. He called out to me but I let him know I would come talk to him after I was out of the shower. I got dressed and went to go see him, he was in his room and on the phone, I called out to him but he did not respond and through his closed door kept talking on the phone. So I was like.. alright I’ll just go grab something to eat. I was putting on my shoes when he called me. I lifted my phone so it would hang up. (why talk when you are but 10 feet away) So I called out to him…. no answer. Got my stuff ready to go to Krispy Kreme and he called again.. (again I hang up and call out to him- but still no response) I was like ‘okay whatever.. weirdo’ (inside my head) I got in the car.. put the phone in the cup holder and drove to get breakfast. When I got done (around 10:30) I had a voicemail, he said something about hanging up the phone and that we needed to talk. Then I got a text message immediately following that saying : ‘What time do you have to take the car back tomorrow’ and another immediately following that saying : ‘I wont be home until after 10pm at that time you can get your things and stay at someone else’s house’

I didn’t really know what to say to that.. I felt kind of betrayed. The guy who wanted to rent the car for me, do all this stuff for me – now wants to kick me out. I told him 11pm on Monday and asked him what was wrong, if he got in a fight with Alex or what was up? He told me that because he was sick of the hang ups on him earlier that morning I was ‘childish’ and he wanted me to stay with someone else.

I went to pick up my stuff that night and he didn’t say anything. He opened up the door and went to his room. I got my stuff.. loaded the car and left. Kaysie had a place for me 🙂 Thanks. Lori also offered to take me in for the remaining 5 nights. I checked to see how much it would be to move my flight up to Monday but it cost way too much. I decided staying with Lori was the best option and here we are. I texted Orien later on asking him how it was childish to want to talk when you are within talking distance to someone, and expressed confusion on why he was reacting the way he was. I told him I would pray for him and left it at that… he hasn’t responded.

Lori went out last night with me and Lisa, picked up stuff for me to eat for the rest of the days I was here. She has been really nice and I’ve been blessed by this experience. When I asked around (while I was visiting people at Sears on Sunday evening) they told me that I probably just exposed something to him and he didn’t like that (like shed some light on something), the term of the darkness and the reaction to the light was told to me. If that is the case.. I want to be thrown out of everyone’s place 🙂

Monday: I woke up from the first nights sleep I’ve had since being in Arizona. Wow.. it felt good. I then returned the car with Lori (she got lost at the airport hahah silly girl) and I (after a little bit of searching) found the rental car drop off place. We then went back and she got some shoes and ran some errands – we watched Monk (the TV series) and later on went to the movies. Cheaper by the Dozen 2… I liked it- It was a family movie.. but a good movie at that.

I’m now posting from her computer (because I don’t have the CD to install Cox Internet on my laptop). I’m going to go eat in a little (she went to her parents home to eat) but she bought me food.. so I told her it was fine. She has been a great host.

That’s all I have for now.. and boy was that a long post. Kudos to those who read it all.
