Hey

I saw this on a friends (Hiarys) xanga.. so I decided to copy it here.

A man went to a barber shop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.

When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: “I
don’t believe that God exists.”

“Why do you say that?” asked the customer.

“Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn’t
exist Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would
there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither
suffering nor pain. I can’t imagine a loving God who would allow all of
these things.”

The customer thought for a moment, but didn’t respond because he didn’t
want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer
left the shop. Just after he left the barber shop, he saw a man in the
street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked
dirty and unkempt.

The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said
to the barber: “You know what? Barbers do not exist.”

“How can you say that?” asked the surprised barber. “I am here, and I am
a barber. And I just worked on you!”

“No!” the customer exclaimed. “Barbers don’t exist because if they did,
there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like
that man outside.”

“Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me.”

“Exactly!”- affirmed the customer. “That’s the point! God, too, DOES
exist! What happens, is, people don’t go to Him and do not look for Him.
That’s why there’s so much pain and suffering in the world.”

I think its a good story. But I can’t believe that my last post even got props. Woohoo hahaha

So right now.. I’m listening to Styles P – Good Times (I get High).

Its a good song…. okay.. maybe not. but I still like it for some reason.

This weekend.. hmm.. its not over yet. Today is the big superbowl day.. and I’m going for New England.

What did I do this weekend… Friday… Blazers won, one of the best events of the evening. I was going to go to bible study.. but didnt. I went to talk to Ingrid – origrinally we were only going to talk until 6 or close to 7, but we talked til 9 – right through bible study. Ah well.. good conversation is hard to come by.

Not for me. haha

After that I went to Andys house – hung out til maybe midnight. At which point I met up with Tara (outside Andys house) and we talked til about 1:30. Then I made her go home because she had work the next day… so I got home at like 2ish.

Saturday.. woke up late. It was my moms birthday.. so we celebrated… after getting over a dispute we almost had for the whole day. haha.. fun times. Blazers won again. Good times.. 3 game winning streak. And now they are only 6 under .500, so they’re starting to turn things around. Before I go off on a rant about them, lets finish the weekend. Went to chruch.. heard the pastor from Epic Christian Church (a new church) speak. It was good.

Id fish you people out.. even if you were keys that fell in the crapper. 😉

Went to 242, hey look at this people.. www.242online.com .. thats the thing I’m always talking about. So.. now you can see it online. All the links don’t work.. but they’re working on that.

After 242 came home to give my mom her presents.. then we uh… oh.. I didn’t know what to do. So Tara was on her way to Wal-Mart (booooo) and we decided to do something. However no movies were playing, bowling ehh.. didn’t feel like it. So we rented Friday Night Lights and watched it. It was eh.. so so, it didn’t turn out like I thought, and I wonder what the big deal or the purpose for making the movie was. Ended up going to sleep at like 3ish.

I got to wear my Red Blazers Jersey. Damon Stoudamire.. woohoo. My fav player… he rocks. Hm.. thats it for me!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.. didn’t get too stupid and do something they’ll regret.

Take care…God Bless

Pray Hard

Ciao!
