Easter 2026
Hey there,
Ara seems to be aging out of some activities – yes, really. Like Easter egg hunting, it stopped for her last year. She was fairly disappointed and only realized it a few days before going this year.
As we did last couple of years, we spent the weekend at New Hope. A Good Friday service, followed by kids’ activities on Saturday (like the egg hunt, etc.), followed by the Super Bowl weekend of church – Easter Sunday.

The boys had fun. Ezra even got out and picked up a bucket full of eggs, but he was with Sky, so I didn’t get those photos on my phone.
It was better weather this year than in the prior years, not nearly as hot outside. The kids’ event was full of things (and people, for that matter) and included a free lemonade/coffee truck, free donuts, and other activities like petting bunnies.
Then Sunday came.

As is typical for most churches across the nation, we were much more crowded than on a typical Sunday.
That pretty much sums up our Easter this year.
Sidenote: I mentioned Ara feeling left out? She got over that fairly quickly, as she was able to hang out with her friends and help out in other ways (she even snagged a few eggs that she hunted).
Until next year.
just Pray
