Chasing Colors

Hey again!

We had a chance to get out and enjoy the cool crisp air. Temps during the day have been in the 60s, plus we have seen more color in the trees.

We decided to take a walk around a couple of the parks close to us.

They did not disappoint.

To get this kind of color and foliage change in Oregon, you have to hunt. I mean, really hunt for it. It may not look like much right now, but there is a definite difference between fall in the NE vs the NW.

We have been going to Grace church (and will continue to until the end of the month) to see how everyone likes it. It is a little drive from us, but it brings us to the area where my parents are. We spend the mornings at church, and the rest of the day with them. Arabella gets 3 hours of a youth/teen program at the church in the evening before we head back to our home.

Anyway, check out the photo below- a dine-in Pizza Hut. Yeah, it’s still a thing. It just tastes better when you can sit down, inside, and enjoy it.

Also, note the 4 drives connected to my computer. I am in the process of backing up our entire NAS Cloud backup and restoring the files. It has been a beast to do, but it has to be done (Looking at you, Luca).

Finally, ending on another positive: The Blazers’ first game started the way every single game should. Yes, they won the game in the end, but wow, the beginning of the game, they ran away with it. It was nice to see.

Hopefully, it’s a sign of more things like that to come. 81 more games to go, and we can be the first team to go 82-0.
