The day has come.

What day, you ask?

We are going to look at a home in Ohio that we made an offer on.

We ended up booking a flight to Cleveland. Hotwire flights for the win. We didn’t know who we would be flying with, but that’s part of the cheap flight catch.

We were booked on United and were able to book our own seats for free. Snacks and drinks included?! Do you know how long it has been since we had that? Close to 8 years ago, when we went to Disneyland and flew Southwest.

At the PDX airport, they have a new Tillamook area (with a Tillamook bus/shaped plane. I liked it, and I know the kids would love that – and it makes sense to have at the airport. PDX airport is very nice now that it is mostly fully updated.

See our plane (above) on the early morning we landed. Part of the flight’s cheapness was a red-eye with a layover in Chicago before finally arriving in Cleveland.

My parents stayed at our house in Portland so that just Sky and I could see the house without the extra cost of 4 additional plane tickets.

This also marks the first time we have ever flown alone (without kids) as a couple. Before this, we were either always together, or I was flying to her, or she was flying to me, or one of us was flying solo somewhere.

Below is the plane we took to Cleveland. Also, see that sign? It was waiting for us at the Marriott, where we stayed. Never have I ever.

Anyway, a couple of milestones.

Now? It’s time to get some rest. We are exhausted.
