Cherry Blossoms
Hey there,
It’s that time again!
Better grab your balloons and invite your friends… that’s right. It’s spring!
Along with the time change comes a beautiful part of the year, the blossoming of trees. Each year, we take a trip down to Salem to get a glimpse of some of the life that explodes across the region.
They even have an evening where they light it up for all to see- we typically try to see this as well.
The day? It was a beautiful, cool day, unlike quite a few others when it had already been getting warm outside. It was in the high 50’s during the day and into the high 30’s at night. The day started with a rain shower, then the sky cleared, and the day took shape.

It simply doesn’t disappoint.
After leaving the area for a bit and letting the kids play at a nearby park, we returned for the evening event.
We didn’t have to stroll around very long before the sun hid behind the horizon, and we could enjoy the views.

We took a bunch of photos of the kids. We even got a good selfie of the family- something that we have now been doing every year for the past 6 years.
