Quick Update
This is a story worth repeating.
I love the rain.
It doesn’t matter to me if it does it day after day, there is something beautiful and peaceful about the rain. This month kicked us off with some good downpours (which aren’t super common for Portland). Below: I snapped a photo of Arabella dancing in the rain with Arabella.

Despite being out of work – we were able to get a free pretzel from Auntie Ane’s (thanks to T-Mobile Tuesday). I’ll take it! Instead of going all the way into Portland for that treat, we took a shorter trip to Sandy. It tasted great. I wish I could say it was a peaceful moment – however despite the quiet photo, there were kids in the back of the Vanborgihini screaming and fighting. Why? Because. It is exhasuting though when that happens. It doesn’t happen all of the time, but when it does… it feels too often – bleh.

Thanks to being out of work since December – the state of Oregon has gotten nervous that I haven’t found a job yet and am still claiming unemployment. They made me go back into their office for a 2nd appointment – this time to ensure that I was using all of the resources I should be using, and to see if perhaps my job was no longer relevant in the job market. They let me know that its likely i’ll go to the end of my benefit without finding a job. Encouraging for sure. Due to my experience last time (waiting many hours) I went right when they opened. This line was probably 15 people deep a few minutes before they opened. It maybe only took me an hour and 1/2 – but still.
My parents came back up for a short trip so that we could celebrate my mom’s birthday with them. Arabella tried to decorate as much as she could for her and even took the “Happy Birthday” poster out of her room (it was one she had used last year).
Happy Birthday mom. Looking forward to so many more.
I suppose thats all for now.
just Pray
