End of May

Have I mentioned how good the weather has been through most of the month?

It’s been great.

Low temperatures, misty/rainy weather. LOVE.

Rounding the month out, the parents stayed the week following Elijah’s birthday. We were able to spend some time with them and have a few cookouts along the way.

I also pulled over on my way home and captured this beautiful shot of a double rainbow (yes, the second is very faint, but it counts).

We also ventured down to see the kickoff of the Rose City Festival and the opening night fireworks! It was a beautiful, clear, cool evening.

My parents left on Memorial Day, and we spent the rest of the day with the family. We took a trip to Molalla and rode the train a few times. Then, I stopped over to say hi to Gramps (since we hadn’t seen him since his birthday in November.

It was good to see everyone.

We have seen some hotter temps in the last week of this month. It got into the mid to high 80s a few days. Bleh.

I’m not looking forward to June, mainly because June, July, and August (and sometimes September) can be warm to hot months for us. I don’t like the hot weather.

Anyway, here I am, hoping for an unusually cool June!

Work-wise? Things have been moving along. Our little non-profit hasn’t had the most funding, so we are hoping for things to pick up in that area so that we can continue with the mission.
