Hey there,
It was recently our anniversary! Its been 12 years since we tied the knot, and even longer (15) since we had planned to get hitched. We got engaged in 09, wanted to get married right away, but in 10, and 11 kept putting it off for my brother who said he wanted to come.. and then rescheduled for his girlfriend (while he is still married – what a mess) then finally said NO MORE WAITING for anyone and got it done in 2012. Without him.
So what did we do?
We went out for a nice steak dinner (thanks to my parents).
After the dinner (which was the night of the storm/rain we went out to do something I had planned to do for at least a year (but didn’t last year as she was preggers still).
I’ve had to sit on this surprise for a while. Anyway, I found a lovely little company that does sunset sails on the Columbia River. It didn’t disappoint.
Plus, I successfully surprised Sky and she really enjoyed it.
Win win.
