2023 – May part 4

Hey yall

The kid’s glasses came in! They were excited to get them. The wife also had her glasses come in as well, so everyone in the family was sporting their new glasses. Here is how the two kids look with them on.

Now that the fence is up, I have to say it is much better. We have privacy again and our yard is locked down so we can be a little more at ease (rather than having an area where anybody could enter at any time). Yeah we had cameras, and we are keeping them up, but there is something to having it back up.

This was Memorial Day weekend, but we didn’t have any plans and didn’t end up doing much. With the anticipation of my upcoming job switch, my nerves have not been calm lately. Anyway, we decided to have a cookout on Tuesday instead.

After the cookout, we took a bunch of dead sticks and some wood that was in the yard and made a little fire for the kids to cook smores outside.

Ending this month with a photo taken on the last day of the month, the kids snuggling. Luca notably is snuggling his bear. We were at a mall over the prior weekend and he just fell in love with this cute little black bear. We got it for him and ever since it has been his best friend.

Now it’s time for June. Not sure what will come of it, I have training planned for the first week of June but after that hopefully, I’ll be assigned to a new project/company.
