2023 – May part 3

Hey

After Elijah had his day, the next day we went for a hike.

We came across this old abandoned shed amongst the green scenery. I grabbed a photo to share. Now, I can’t say I’m a big fan of this type of graffiti but it still presents as a good contrast.

The fall is called “Bridal Veil” and it’s one of our favorites with a fairly short hike.

Our neighbor to the side of us asked again about the fence. A week or two back he offered to pay for half. We took him up on it and even used his builder. Here is a picture we took when the fence was going up. A second photo of the completed fence. He did a pretty good job.

This is the time of year when we get great views of Mt Hood while still mostly covered in snow. We took a trip to the Parkdale area to our “spot” for these kinds of photos. Also went because my parents hadn’t been yet and they were still in town from Elijah’s birthday weekend.

After we got back the wife and I laid down some new mulch surrounding our grass area. This year we are doing brown as opposed to black. Black killed everything with how hot it would get.

The next day we took a trip to the park as it was a beautiful 65-degree day.

The month is quickly ending!
