2023 – February part 2

Hey

The next day we decided to paint our steps in the front yard and take advantage of some of the drier weather we were having (see photo below).

What else? Hmm.. well one of the things that we haven’t done (despite the many many many Blazers games we have gone to) is going to a Blazers vs Lakers game. We finally got that chance on February 13th. We found tickets that were cheap (sub $10) per ticket and decided it would be good also considering the tickets go for 60 and up for cheap seats – an affordable event. We at least got this checked off of the bucket list. Here are some photos of the game, and a final score too!

We beat the Lakers – quite easily too. It was a great way to finally see this matchup. If you remember, some years ago I had gotten tickets for my wife and myself at Staples Center, but the person was a no-show and we had to get a refund for the tickets. This is a better overall experience. That night we came out of the game and it was pretty cold. By the time we got home, we had started to get some snow. Not enough to play in but enough to start to see on the non-paved surfaces.

The next day (Valentine’s Day) we found practically free tickets, so we went to another game. This time Luca got his first “tattoo” (that washes off in the shower). Elijah was excited to match his little brother.

Here is a photo of the boys and the matching tattoos. At the game vs the Lakers, they gave out free smoothie coupons. We were able to cash those in over the weekend. Speaking of the weekend, we have tried out a new church. Grace Chapel, in Wilsonville. It is a bit of a drive for us, but we are willing to make a drive to find a healthy church for us and the kids. The first impressions were good, but we will continue to go for the next month or so and see how things unfold.
