2023 – January part 2

hey

It’s a new year! Here is a photo I snapped during a meeting one day. I’ve also been looking to see what I can do to help this new year spark other changes. One of the things I decided to try was some face wash stuff. I saw an ad on Facebook for a free month’s supply for $5 shipping. Worth the risk – even if I end up using it as another type of facewash. Anyway, so far the stuff they sent is alright, but I can’t tell any big difference. I’ve been using the items for a couple of weeks and meh, probably just switch to a charcoal facewash. Not worth the $50 to $60 they want monthly.

Finally, we have a personal weather station. I’m pretty excited about it. It was a birthday present from my parents. I got it in the mail and this is the view it has. I’m feeding the data into other apps like Wunderground and Weatherbug. Anyway, as a weather enthusiast, it’s cool to have. We already are both NWS Weather Spotters, so why not add to the list? Plus the wife and I have always liked looking at the readings and knowing what the weather is, know I know what the temperature is where I am!

MLK Day came and went. We stopped by some areas and talked to the kids about the history. The next weekend we also decided to take a trip to the Chinese Garden here in Portland. Overall the visit wasn’t too bad until the very very last point. We were also able to see the traditional dragon dance as well, which everyone enjoyed.

More on the not-so-great part of the visit in my next post!
