2022 – May

We started May by going to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. Things were pretty good, I got off work and we went before it closed.

Things were pretty good until Luca decided to sit down in some mud so that he could play in it. Lucky for us, we were prepared with a chance of clothes in the car. Pretty much all of his photos that you see were taken with the change of clothes that we brought.

In Dog News: Maryia found a dog that she wanted. This little mini schnauzer- who we decided to call Einstein (after Doc Brown’s dog in Back to the Future).

Arabella got some gear and she thinks she can ride a bike (she doesn’t know how yet). We got a sign to help put into words how we feel (however we took it down later on in fear that someone would vandalize or steal it as most of our neighbors seem to be on the “Blue Lives Matter” spectrum). Now that our far is fixed from that road damage we got her some new shoes. The letters will fully wear off when it’s no longer good. “S” is for Snow, “W” is for wet roads, and “D” is for dry roads. Kinda cool. They also come with a free roadside service, but hopefully, we won’t have to use that.

May means that it is Elijah’s birthday. This year he wanted the Jurassic theme considering the Jurassic movie that came out. I think we did a pretty good job on the cake and the decorations were mostly dino-themed.

We took a trip to a lighthouse for Elijah (as he loves them). After that, we came back and ate at Outback

COVID cases have been rising – we have already gotten 3 shots for the vaccine and they are now saying it will probably be an ongoing treatment like the flu shot. Sounds about right.

We have been trying to hold the dog as much as possible to get him acclimated to being around people all the time. If you hold him long enough he just falls asleep, as most puppies do. We took a trip to Home Depot recently too to prepare for our upcoming project. We are finally pulling the trigger. We are going to be painting our living room/family room and kitchen a new color. I’ll have more photos when we are finished.
