2022 – March part 3
After finishing Knotts, we took a day to rest before we started our drive back home.
We were a little motivated to get back because the Cherry Blossoms were blooming. We didn’t expect this – so we purchased the kids some clothes along the way so that we could take cute photos of them this year (and not have to make a 2-hour trip to get to and from our house). On the way home, we stopped in Salem and this was our view:

Then we drove on up to Portland and caught the Japanese blossoms there too.

What a great month. We were fortunate enough to work remotely which allowed this whole trip to be possible. I ended up taking just ONE day off (that was the day we went to Knotts).
We always keep an eye on Blazers tickets to see if they are cheap or not. Well, the Blazers had been tanking this season (after they traded away 1/3rd of the team — meaning C.J. McCollum). What does that mean? Cheap tickets. Meaning? We attended another game.
Win or lose, it is fun. Plus when you aren’t worried about the cost of the game (because it was a dollar or two for everyone to go to a professional event) you can spend more time walking the concourse and doing the kid’s stuff instead of sitting in your seat for the entirety of the game.

Finally, one of our neighbors is selling their house and this is a cool view their realtor took from a drone. You can see our house too!
