2021 – February part 1
Well, what a start January turned out to be.
I started February off quieter. Spend more time at home and the kids were taking to feeding Luca. I would still try to get my snuggles in with the other kids when I had the chance.
We got our custom plate in “D5” which stands for Dewey 5. Arabella liked it so much she wanted a picture with it on the car.
February also means the Portland Winter Festival. This year it was an “Un-festival” and they had things spread out more, ensuring the ability to social distance.

The Dinos were cool (glow in the dark) and Elijah loves dinosaurs so this was his favorite thing. We love it every time we go.
Baby Luca has been sitting with me lately any time I am on a call at BPA. Also, have I mentioned that I love working from home?
The only issue is that the boy likes sitting with me. If you take him away he will start crying (see below).
We haven’t seen much snow this winter, but that is about to change! We are slated to get over a foot of snow (which will then be all melted away in a week or so).

The forecasters were right. I love it when that happens. We got snow and it didn’t stop. When it finally did let up it was halfway up the rim of the car. We went outside and played a bit (see Ara getting ready to have a snowball fight) and even built a snowman. We took a walk to a local coffee shop too and got hot chocolate for the kids, and coffee for the adults. Lots of fun. Luca didn’t mind. He was in a front pack and snuggled up very warm and cozy the whole time.
