2020 – July
Exciting times!
At least if you want to talk about yardwork.
We had our front area revamped. We added grass to the front instead of all of the overgrown trees, bushes and weeds that took over the front.

It looks SO MUCH BETTER.
The Fourth of July is next! We went to the Dalles to see the fireworks show. This is touted as the largest on the West Coast.
It was however in the Dalles… we were in Trump territory. At the fireworks show we were surrounded by people with Trump flags, crosses, and “ALL LIVES MATTER” and “BLUE LIVES MATTER” posted everywhere.
We tried to ignore it the best we could. A couple of knuckleheads started a bushfire not more than 15 feet from where we were sitting. We saw the fire department come and put it out and then a few of the trumpers that started the fire relocated.
Anyway, the main thing to remember is that the kids enjoyed it. It was a pretty show (photo below was taken near the finale). It was also nice to see the fireworks over the Columbia River.

The last photo just shows you how much my hair has grown, and my dad has let his hair grow too.
We are starting to be more strict on what we do, and where we go as we are pregnant with our third.
We went to the beach a few times. Saw the house from Short Circuit (it is located in Astoria and is the green house with the chain link fence). Apparently, if you go up to the door they love to have visitors but we left them alone, admiring it from afar. July means hotter weather, which also means the kids got outside to enjoy the warmth and play in a makeshift water play area.
There was a meteor shower that we attempted to see, but due to city lights and the like, we didn’t get much other than a nice view of the city at night.

The Tillamook Stumptown – Cold Crew Coffee ice cream is AMAZING. Has to be one of my favorite flavors they have ever carried and we found it locally. JJ also stopped by and hung out with us – it was good to see him. It had been YEARS since we last hung out with him. We ended July with photos at the beach in preparation for our announcement that we are having another baby. After those photos were done the kids wanted to be buried in the sand. Look at Arabella – I wonder how much sand she ended up eating/ Cute none-the-less.
Work wise we keep getting extended for working at home. It doesn’t look like things are going to be changing in that sense for a while. They keep having spikes in different metros and things get shut down. Such a wild experience from what we are used to.
