hey
what an eventful past ten days it has been.
well.. maybe not because it doesn’t feel like it has been ten days since I’ve posted a blog.
So, pretty much not much has changed; however… this past week I started to feel a little sick. Not sure why, or how. I heard some people were sick at work within the past week.. and I’m told that is most likely how it took place. On Wednesday I didn’t want to go into work at all. I was up almost the whole night prior feeling like I couldn’t breathe .. little less swallow air or anything else.
Anyway, I went into work. Made it through the day- even though it felt like it took forever to get through.
Thursday I took off work because I didn’t feel much better at all. Stayed home and slept nearly all day. Then went in on Friday but felt worse than on Thursday. Got home with a fever and it didn’t let up until the next morning.
Saturday/Sunday I have been gradually getting better, despite the blister I now have from the fever. Oh joys.
5 days.
Five days.
Dang. I wish it could feel like so little… instead of so much.
As if my day week wasn’t going wonderfully as it was.. I tried this Nair product (says it should keep the hair away for longer than shaving) they have a formula for men too. Anyway, I got the stuff and put it on. Took it off and the stuff irritated my skin.. I can still feel it now (and I did it yesterday). hahaha
Oh well. My dad tried it too and he got it worse than me, his whole face is red.
Um… what else what else….
Plans for my vacation have changed a little bit. If you didn’t know, I am leaving for New York next week to see a Yankees game in Yankee stadium.. I’ve been waiting all summer for this.
Anyway, I have the whole week off, but am leaving for NYC on Wednesday.. so my family wanted to go to Washington from Saturday to Tuesday to visit my brother. We’ll fly into Portland and spend the afternoon in the city (I heart the city) and so.. yep. I am looking forward to it. We get back on Tuesday and leave for the big apple on Wednesday.
Not sure what else to blog about… I would consider this a fairly lengthy update, so I’ll leave at this.
I heard this quote yesterday and I loved it, so it’ll be the oh so sought after endquote.
Endquote [{“…and our generation? Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives.”}]
