The Blazers game.

Starting lineups… Yay Blazers!

Pregame.. the Ford Bold moves Blimp.

This game was one of the wildest games I’ve been to.. or seen in my life.

No kidding… no joking.  This was one for the books.

Click here for a video review of this game… you gotta see this.

Things not said- at the end when we foul Damon Stoudamire… time doesn’t stop and runs out (as you can see when you watch the review).  The refs huddled for a few minutes and determined that the foul was before time ran out.

Then Stoudamire missed the 2nd free throw on purpose (so time would just run out) and when Udoka (for the Blazers) got the rebound, the time ran out– but the refs blew the whistle seemingly at the same moment.  SO they huddled for a few more minutes and determined that the foul was made before the time ran out.

The arena was 1/2 empty because most everyone left when with about 8 seconds left.  Wow did they miss out.

Crazy crazy game.

He hit the first free throw, but *sigh* missed the 2nd.

So kinda a bummer that we didn’t win.

However it was a heckofa game to watch and be at.  Just wish we woulda hit that free throw.

That didn’t spoil the night.  We entered into the arena, and upon getting to our seats we were liking the view.  Why?  Take a look at the two pictures below.

That was our seat view..

Squint to see that text… the arrow points to our seats last time we were at a game.

Pretty good eh?

We are sitting at our seats and a member of the Blazers organization comes to us, asking “hey are you the guys who wanted to take a picture on the court?”  (I had asked them by email if this was possible).

Surely.  We were escorted down to the floor.  He explained we could take a few pictures.  They are below:

We were on the court.  We walked right by Zach Randolph (pictured shooting).  Wow…..

He was like.. Okay how about a picture on the Blazers Bench?

SHWEET.

Of course!

And then… the picture I’ve longed for…. and a place I’ve wanted to be since I’ve been a fan…… tonight was the night!

Yes, thats a Memphis player behind us.  The teams were practicing- he told us that they typically don’t do this- – but made arrangements for us.

Oh yeah baby.  Oh yeah.

I was pretty down about things, until I reviewed these photos, and once again I am happy.

What an amazing night.  And a pretty amazing game.

God pretty much knew this would make my night.  Me and Him, we go back… Wayyy back.  Back into time.

Almost a week since I’ve updated.

Updates on my main site… www.jshox.com

On the family front….

My brother and sister in law have lost custody to Jordan.  Then a little later we found out that they won’t have custody to Alexis or Hailey either.

My family is going to go to the courts and get the custody of the kids (Alexis and Hailey- Jordan is already with some family on Heidi’s side).  That means.. I’ll have young people around me.  And I’ll no longer be the youngest–not by a long shot.

Also means that life, once again will be in a process of change.  What is life if it doesn’t change?

That has pretty much been the biggest stuff going down recently.  If anyone has any education in or with the Lawyer bar association (doubtful) let me know.  Found what I needed here.

So things in the family are just getting focused on getting my brother out of the predicament that he is currently in.  Prayers would be appreciated.

This has been one of those weeks that moves really quickly, but yet at a snails pace.

I have nothing else at the moment, hope all is well.

However, if you make less than 52,000 a year (that is most of you) and need to file taxes— look at this.

Hey

A link blog..

Was looking on azcentral for random things, I found a few.

A Turtle, and a Dog  |  92 years later  |  On the Cross  |  Romeo, O Romeo

I thought they were interesting.

Today I took pictures with Voices.  That was fun.. as always haha, we even had everyone show up for the first time in a few weeks.

Those following the NBA know that this weekend is the All-Star weekend.  Pretty much one of the best weekends in sports.  This totally owns the Superbowl.  Fight me on that if you want, but not right now…. later.

This weekend I have a date!  My first date in a long time.  She… a.k.a. the couch is waiting for me as we speak.  I can see the look in her eyes.  She wants me to lay back with the remote in hand and turn on the sweet sights of the NBA on TNT.  My love life is so great.  No hidden messages, no subLYMONAL message (sprite, its a joke)… and I can hit the mute whenever I want.  What more could you ask for?

I feel like I want to redo my website, but I want do to do it with pictures I’ve taken.  Without a camera that is a task.

Watched a new movie tonight … the Departed.  It was a movie with a twisted plot… thats for sure.  It also has excessive cursing and lots of killing.  Sound like your type of movie?  Have at it!

I feel disorganized… like really disorganized.  I will probably be doing some work to fix that this weekend.  It might just be the highlight of my oh-so-jammed packed weekend.

Have a great weekend.

Ciao

In the past 48 hours…

I have been in bed at least thirty nine hours…. yeah

You read it right… 39.

I feel so drained.

Overtaken with sickness I’ve been resting trying to get better as soon as I can. I don’t get sick often– infact the last time I can remember being this sick was November of 2005. Oddly enough I think the whole thing started to happen when I took a drink of orange juice. Right after I took a drink I could feel.. something different in my throat. I’ve been assured it wasn’t the orange juice, but it was a rather odd kick-off to being sick. Don’t you agree?

Anywho… I went to Voices Tuesday, making the first time in a few days to get out of bed, little loan leave my house. I felt out of it and very dizzy, so during most of Voices I was leaning up against something. I should get better as time goes on, I don’t really feel sick anymore.. just.. dizzy and out of it.

It just turned the 14th. Happy Birthday to my brother Michael.

I shall update later on in the week.
