Hola!
So this is yet another update. I have pictures this time…. (something I’ve lacked in my last few posts).
I had to reformat my computer the other day after I got it back from Compaq
I did it. It didn’t fix the problems. I called tech support, problems not solved.
I got off the phone when them, and downloaed a lot of drivers and changed some settings. I got it so I can use it, but it still needs to be sent back in….
Last night I was out with friends. Dayna treated me and Ruth to dinner and a movie. Dinner at McDonalds, and a movie at the Avalon movie theater (shows older movies). We saw Dejavu. I liked it… it feels like I’ve said this before… hmmm woah crazy. 😉
Afterwards, I was at school hung out with Deniece and Ruth, I was treated to coffee at Starbucks. It was dead quiet (not many people in Starbucks is a weird thing). We ordered the coffee and the guys at Starbucks gave us our coffee for free. And the people after us.. and so forth– cept when a cop came in they charged him. Woohoo
I got home and looked online at news. Came across the weather… the were saying we would get snow.
And well.. we got snow.. not much at first.
But by morning it had accumulated much more.
First snow storm of the year. First one since last March… Portland gets them like once a year, and it has been freezing for the past week. They expected it to snow/rain, but it just snowed.
It made for a pretty scene.
All the local news people had exclusive coverage of this breaking event. It reminded me of when Phoenix gets rain.
My mom and I built a snowman, sure… he has a longer arm than the other, leave him alone.
My mom and I went walking. My dad was home from work due to the snow (the city pretty much closes down)
Voices was canceled today, and so were a lot of colleges and schools.
It made me happy.
Snow anyone?
Hm, I took this picture and thought .. the sign looks like it is telling you there is snow both ways! 😉
We walked to a coffee shop.
Walk up to the place and I ask my mom if she has my card because I didn’t have my wallet. “Um, no” haha so we walked a good distance to a coffee shop with no money. We went inside, warmed up and walked back home.
Snow is supposed to melt tomorrow, but it does make for an unusual sight here in Portland.
Pray Hard
