Hey
This post will be loaded with pictures.
So on my dad’s birthday.. I took a picture while I waited for time to pass to get the hot doughnuts.. I took a picture of the Krispy Kreme place..
Saturday.. the day of the Voices Christmas party (concert). I left at 8am with my family to go look at a car.
It was a long ways from home…
Like.. hours away.
Way up.. in Washington. 3 hours or so North of Portland? Yeah.
We finally arrived at the house, and test drove it. It turned out to be a good vehicle. Only about 30,000 miles on the car and it wasn’t a bad price. My dad did the negotiations and because the man selling it wouldn’t budge on lowering the price (any further) we let him know that we wouldn’t take the car. Then after hearing that the guy came down (some 2000+ dollars total), (and my dad told me that I should buy it) and well…
That is the guy and my dad finalizing the deal. Weird part about it? Afterwards we went into the house and the guy had some sign up in his kitchen about God being the head of the family and in every thought. So I asked him, “Are you a Christian?”
“Yes, I am” he replied.
So I told him that I go to school at Cascade, and asked if he had ever heard of it.. telling him it was right near Multnomah Bible College.
He told me that he was one of the financial sponsors of the school. I was amazed…
So here I am driving the car right after I got it…. Thats Sunshine in front of me.
My parents pulled behind me on the freeway and took this picture. Her name is Midnight, and yes the moon roof is up.
Okay, so you can’t really see the car too well.. so here you go…
The pictures turned out well. However.. those pictures are the last ones. Sunday (yesterday) I took those pictures and accidentally dropped the digital camera. Well with my great luck.. I drop my camera once and it doesn’t work anymore 🙁 So.. my nice camera that I’ve had for all this time is no more. RIP– rest in pieces.
Everyone… meet Miggy… he told me he was feeling left out.
On Sunday morning I went to a new church with my family. Rolling Hills Community Church..
The atmosphere… it reminded me of a church..
It reminded me of Central. I’m not so sure about the preaching as of yet (seeing as yesterday was my first time at this church) but in time.. that will come about.
Meg and Kris…
Meghan Lynn Dorsey (- as of yesterday…-) Happy 23rd Birthday
It bothered me that I didn’t call her on her birthday (wasn’t online so I couldn’t have that way…). I have excuses.. but I don’t like excuses. I did remember.. ask any of my friends… I told them about it.. the day before and the day of. Rawr.
So the Voices concert on Saturday night went well. I don’t think we really performed too great but we had a good time. Then on Sunday the Choir performed well and voices performed better as well.. but had less fun. So I guess everything has it’s trade off.
It looks like all of my financial stuff is taken care of for the next year of school.. saying that Central still gets that support money to my school sometime this year.
I feel like I’m forgetting something… but I can’t remember.. so this is it for now.
