Hey,

So I am at the X-treme bean.

I decided it was time for an update… soo…

Update:  www.jshox.com – what do you think?

Haven’t had any internet for a while… and not sure when I will get the chance to update again.

Work at Verizon is pretty cool — they have a Cafe with Starbucks, in the call center.  They also have chefs who will make food for you (yes you have to pay for it, but it’s still cool).

Not a direct picture of the cafeteria place, but this is the seating area, all nice-ish.

They also have a workout place…

Not bad eh?  I didn’t think so.

Tomorrow starts the regular training.  Friday was just the orientation… so far so good, and they have good benefits that start the day of orientation… that also is good.

Friday night I was at the house/apartment/condo type thing, and the power went out.  It was fan-tastic.  Love being in 100+ weather and having the power go out to the AC unit and everything else on the block.  It is the second time such a thing has happened since I’ve been there.

Saturday I went to church, pretty much that was the day.  I didn’t do much else– but that night I did go watch a movie with Brandy.

Today we went to church — someone who use to lead the worship at Central now is part of this much smaller church, so me and B2 went to go check it out.  It was alright, they seem to have a liking for spam.

On the way out– a xanga worthy comment was made.  “Do you guys have kids?”– hmm.  Nope, not last I checked.  It was funny… because the woman asking was asking me and Brandy.  We got a kick out of it.

I did laundry most of the rest of the day until I went to get something to eat and then came here.  This evening hasn’t been so bad, but I still have that feeling… that ‘ugh tomorrow is Monday’ feeling.  You know?  I get the feeling even if I like the job I have, its weird— oh well.

I am going to have to leave soon, its almost 8:25….

“Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again: Rejoice!  Let your gentleness be evident to all.  The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:4-7

God Bless, Pray Hard

Ciao
