So I haven’t had internet access for a little. I think I won’t be able to get it free much longer if at all.
I went to orientation yesterday at Sears. It was good to see Dante, Hoang, Jackie, Robert, Orien, Jennifer, Stacy… even Amy— wow yeah she went to high school with me, was in Orchestra with me and now she works at Sears in the lawn & garden department. I’ve been hired for the laundry line but the people in lawn and garden are trying to get me back over on their side – they are talking to the site manager and everything. I called Verizon a few times and have not heard anything- even a call back. So I don’t know but I am starting to think that I will just be working at Sears…
When am I leaving town? I think I am going to leave Arizona a day after Kaysie’s Birthday… I could’ve left the day of- again, but I’ll push it back a day.
News news news… I know a lot of people are interested and praying for the situation with Mike (my brother) and Heidi. Right now things are semi-up in the air. I’ll keep you up to speed….
Before I do that… some don’t know my brothers side of the story… the side I struggle with believing. He said that Heidi was visiting Jordan (her other son that she is in a custody battle with the father), and while she was gone, Michael (my brother) bent over to pick up something (apparently a phone, he dropped it right next to a space heater), he went to go pick it up (while holding Alexis) and dropped Alexis on the heater. Then the course of events are that he picked her up right away and tried to wipe away the burn that was on her skin.
For the record I don’t believe the story- but on the other hand I do not believe he would do anything to purposely hurt Alexis or any other kid.
On Thursday they were in court over the case of the state trying to take the kids away.
What happened in the case? My brother and Heidi lost control of Alexis for at least 75 days. They are trying to prosecute my brother and Heidi over this matter. They have cops, investigators and everything else on this case… so it isn’t a run-of-the-mill case. Exciting eh?
The investigators for the police and whatnot say the burns on the baby are not consistent with his story. They asked Michael why he didn’t call 911 after it happened and I guess his answer was that he was just going to wait for Heidi.
That is all my brother needs, for something to be brought against him. Ugh, it wouldn’t be good if something happened involving him. He is finally finishing stuff from all the years in Arizona, and to add that with anything would equal Jail time.
I really hope that he and Heidi are telling the truth- and if they are they have nothing to be worried about- nothing what-so-ever. I really hope everything works itself out for the better, and that this is a bunch of drama for nothing.
My parents are trying to get temporary custody of Alexis now that it is going to be so long, they are trying to go around the difference of state problem. Also.. Heidi’s dad is trying to get custody of the kids — and then Heidi would move back to Arizona, but my brother can’t right now. So what would happen with their marriage? *shakes head* oi vey..
I’m pretty consistent with who I have been hanging around with. B squared or Lori. And I barely get the chance to see Lori, she is always busy. I think lately I have been struggling a little with loneliness. I haven’t played basketball or anything for a week… seems like longer. My schedule is going to be making me a lot busier.
During training I am working from 7:30am to 4, then I will be at the church from 5:30ish to 9 or 10pm depending on how much I need to get done. Tuesday thru Thursday Hilary is going to be in town, so I’ll need to make some time for that too, and in less than a week Lisa is coming out for a little from San Francisco to visit.
I guess it isn’t that bad to be so busy. At home I don’t have internet and don’t watch much TV.
Other than that Jazz, the Miami Heat won the NBA Championship on Tuesday- the same day I got accepted into Redcliffe. Good for them, I am glad they won it.
I don’t think I have much else to say right now…
I am at the extreme bean updating because.. as I said there is no internet at Lori’s anymore, so I figured I would take a trip down here, because it is one of the only places that gives free wireless internet in town. If you know of another place closer.. let me know.
