So.. been kind of busy lately, the past few days.
Sunday I went to Lifechurch.tv and I will probably go once more.. but I want to see other churches and whatnot. After church I really started to observe and think about my finances, and what all my options were. Central won’t pay me enough to pay off my credit card (from the current balance, saying I don’t buy any gas or anything), and get a plane ticket like I need for college. My options? Get another job.
Monday at work I was doing random things, Tuesday the power went out, that was fun. It was off for a while.. the batteries weren’t enough to continue so they shut all the servers down, and I went home early. Wednesday I did more random little tasks.
Wednesday was fun. Crystal came to visit me.. or well came in the Phoenix area for the day, so I got off work early and went with her mom and dad to have dinner. It was fun! Then later on in the night I got to hang out with JJ playing basketball (we have done that almost every night the past week) and then we even went bowling. I had fun, I think he did too.
Thursday I …. uploaded the videos that I took and others took for Global Outreach onto the server @ Central (while at central I wrote stuff out on the computer.. by hand.. haha.. with this notepad thing where you could write on it and it would show up on the screen. Wanna see what I did? click here), came home to an empty house because my roomie is gone for the weekend.
And then today– Friday. Earlier on in the week I had an interview with Verizon (by phone). If you remember, last time I was working at Sears when I applied and I didn’t get the job, but this time they told me to come in for the next step.. (for the 2nd out of 3 interviews needed). I found out a little later that the training class won’t start until July 15th. Yikes… that is almost not worth it. I will have 4 to 5 weeks before the job starts.
I needed something to fill that in-between time… hmmm… thinking.. thinking… Oh yes! Sears. I went in and as soon as they saw me they had me filling out paper work and said they would be crazy to not take me back. I think I will stay with that job for a few weeks, until the Verizon thing swings around (Verizon pays better–and I would rather work for Verizon).
I got done with the 2nd interview with Verizon and I asked if I should look for another job or if this one was a lock, and they told me ‘no, you have it’ so.. that was good news to me.
I talked to Orien — as I saw him in the halls of Sears. Then I texted Tara and talked to her a little via text.
So how will the 2nd job work? Well.. I will do the full time 8 – 5 training.. and then all the other times I will be @ Central doing as much as I can.

Oh – and the Alexis thing, she is doing better. My parents won’t get custody of her because of the difference of states (Oregon and Washington) so instead my parents are going to go visit my brother and his wife this weekend. As far as the custody of Alexis– my parents testified for my brother, and he will get access back to the kids restored in like… what… 2 weeks? And that’s it.
