Living Hope.  Dying Hope.

My hope for the church that I am attending is fading quickly.

I think I will have to search for another church when I return from AZ.

When I go to church it feels like to me that they are putting on a show.  I miss the authenticity, the …  faith challenging sermons.  You know, the kind you walk away saying… wow I can really change in this way, or do things this way, or look at things in a new light.

Yeah I do that part on my own, but I think of it being kinda like a sponge and church is your time to fill up to the max, throughout the week you spread what you were fed and learned in church to everyone around you.  Return and do it again… repeat and repeat.

That’s where I’m at.  That isn’t where this church is at.

They have a really good worship team, but even that sometimes seems over-the-top.

Blah.  It works for some people, the light messages that are like Sunday-schoolish is working for a lot of people who attend.  Easter Sunday weekend the attendance was 7000+, so God is doing great things in that church.

To top it off, Willie flipped out two or three times today in church – attacking me and my dad.  Mom is going to see his doctor person who prescribes medicine for him.

After that I went and waited at the MAX station for Hyun Chul.

After waiting for 15 to 20 minutes and many stops, I left.  (He doesn’t have a cell phone).

Speaking of him, on Tuesday we met up and ate Korean food.

He’s such a good guy – he ordered me non-spicy food.  woohoo.  I even had this sea-food-pizza thing.

Anywho.  Then we saw United 93.  I would rate it… 7 out of 10.

I went out to eat at Red Robin with my family for Mothers day.  We then came home, and I got a call from Hyun (about 3:30) that he was at the MAX station.  So I picked him up and we hung out until about 5:30 when I dropped him off at school.  Tonight he is taking a Red-eye flight to Texas at 12:30am.  crazy…

Tonight, we probably wont do much.. but that’s okay.  We’ve had a productive 4 or 5 days.  Tomorrow will be hot.. like hot hot.  In the 90’s.  Crazy that it is that hot here.  God’s preparing me for AZ I guess hahaha

Happy Mothers Day.

Happy Birthday Kristina Miller.

β€œFor you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” – Psalm 139:13-14

That’s all for me right now..

Pray Hard, God Bless
