Moving “home”

Remember when I said life was happening too quickly! Well a lot has happened!

Jason got a job offer from Intel and they wanted us to move up right away! So we packed everything into a U-haul and headed back to the Pacific Northwest! That’s right… we moved home! We found a tiny little 3 bedroom condo with a decent backyard and Moved in last Monday!

We spent Easter in Medford this year. The kids got their Easter “baskets” a little late but they didn’t seem to notice. It’s been an adventure for sure. Arabella is really enjoying picking dandelions and stomping in the mud. I think she likes having a place to run wild. Than heavens the yard is gated.

We have been so tired that we unpack Little by Little, do school work, clean, and then crash at night. Our car didn’t get here until Friday so we were kinda stuck at home. It’s a strange feeling being back in Oregon! It’s beautiful and it’s nice to feel the rain on my face again.

I can’t wait to meet up with people… once we get a bit of a schedule down. Right now I think a nap is in store! Seriously moving plus school plus kids is exhausting. But I’m glad we made it! Here we go again on yet another amazing adventure!

I feel really fortunate to be on this journey with the love of my life and two amazing kids. I know I don’t deserve this beautiful life but I will soak in and savor every moment of it!

Visiting Oregon!

Our little guy is officially 10 months old!!! I can’t believe it! Seriously… life is going by too quickly! He has really started showing his personality! He laughs a lot and loves being held.

We recently flew out to Oregon for a couple of interviews and to look at some condos. It’s been a long time coming but with a little grace we may just make it back to Oregon!

I’m going to be honest… it’s been Jason’s idea. He had to convince me a little to consider moving back. I got comfortable living in big cities and I enjoyed all of the convenience of living in a big city. I also love the weather. This trip back to Oregon felt a little weird. The city feels so small now. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, it’s just a change. After all of the traveling we have been able to experience, the world somehow feels smaller. Our trip to oregon was only a couple of days and then we headed back to Southern California. It was good to see some family… even if it was brief. The main focus of this visit was to interview/ look for a place to live if a job came up.

Surprise… I also started classes. Right now I’m just taking 7 credits at a community college. I feel like my brain is a little out of shape but I survived my first week. I’m still adjusting to the format of online classes and figuring out how to navigate all of the forums. Nothing makes a person feel old as much as returning to school after taking a substantial break!

Place holder

Life has been crazy! I have a lot to catch up on, recent travels, and future plans. I haven’t even begun working on thank you cards for her birthday but for now here is a photo to act as a place holder until I get the chance to catch up!
