First Summer Camp!

We dropped Arabella off at 9am on Monday and she took the bus up to Olympia with her friends. She didn’t have her phone so we didn’t hear from her until we picked her up on Friday. She got to be with 3 of her friends from New Hope and 2 of the staff from New Hope. My momma heart had a difficult time with her being away for a week. She did fantastic! We’ve watched the camp updates… from water balloon launches to lots of time in the water and night time worship concerts. I couldn’t wait to hear all about her adventures! She said she had a lot of fun. Her favorite thing was swimming and crafts. She didn’t like the spaghetti but still had a lot of fun… even if only 9th graders got the s’mores. She’s happy and energetic and her joy is contagious. I’m glad she had so much fun. She’s beaming with excitement telling us all about it. Also, she was very excited that her team won at the end of the week… the Green Llamas.
