Hello… It’s been 3 years!

Hello! It looks like time is speeding on by! Yesterday my sweet girl woke up early. We spent most of the night before preparing for her big day. She had no idea that the house was full of balloons! I put the iPad behind a stuffed pig in front of the pig pen and had it playing pig noises before she got out of the shower. When we finally let her out she was very excited to see all of the balloons and immediately wanted to investigate where the pig noises were coming from. When she found the iPad she giggled.

Soon enough she was opening her gifts but kept getting distracted because she wanted to play with balloons. After the excitement settled down she was able to play with her new toys! Today she woke up early and was quietly playing in the livingroom. She brought us “breakfast in bed” that she cooked up for us on her new dish set. She said she liked “making” things.

The weekend went by fast. We weren’t able to do everything that was planned but I now officially have a 3 year old! She’s spunky and smart and sassy and sweet all rolled into one bundle of beautiful energy!

We had her pink pig party. She had a lot of fun playing with balloons and being a princess. I didn’t really get many photos… and I haven’t taken her “3 year old” photos yet. I hope I get up the energy to do them sooner rather than later! I look at the house and it’s pretty much a disaster… haha. I guess it looks like we had a toddler birthday or something!

Each pink balloon had a pig face and curly tail! (Yeah it took a while even with multiple adults)

So tired!

I can’t believe how big my sweet girl is! Seriously I remember bringing a tiny baby home like it was yesterday… and now I have this little person who loves being fearless and sweet and defiant all at once.

Later today we have her 3 year check up! We found her a new doctor that I hope she likes. She is a little concerned about getting shots but we have reassured her that there will be no shots at this visit. I’m not really sure she believes us but she’s a brave girl so she will be just fine!
