Winding down

part 3 of 3:

Our last morning in Tucson we woke up, checked out, and headed to get some breakfast at Einsteins!

Arabella got her first scraped knee and was showing off her “Owie”.

We spent some time at the Casa Grande Ruins. It was really windy and a little warm.

After browsing the ruins it was time to head back north towards Phoenix!

We visited the Tonto National Monument. And then we’re on our way…

We stopped to see the Roosevelt Dam and headed into the Superstition Mountains… Which was very bumpy and very close to the edge…

We headed down the mountains and stopped in Tortilla Flat, AZ.

That night we went to Oreginos for dinner and then we went home and rested!

81 gallons of fuel later and we had to return the rental car first thing in the morning! This was the last day Nonnie and Gramps would be in town!

The next day we hung out at the Mesa Swap Meet, tried a bunch of Salsa, and then headed to Phoenix.

We had red robin for dinner and then headed to our last stop before the airport…

The Xtreme Bean. We said our goodbyes there. Gramps got in some last minute snuggles.

We headed to the airport, said our goodbyes and then headed home for the night.

Sunday we had a mostly relaxing day at home! Arabella turned 19 months old!!!

It’s hard to believe that it is almost October! This Year is Almost OVER! And it is insanely crazy to think that in less than 6 months I will have a two year old!!!!!
