Happy Valentines Day!

Well it’s Valentines Day in America… lol. Jay and I joke about being on Australian time all of the time. The kinda funny thing is it’s not really a joke. He works with Australian clients so we are really living off of Australian time.  So yesterday was technically our Valentines day. We agreed that we wouldn’t be purchasing gifts for one another because of baby expenses but when I woke up the door bell rand and there was a box sitting there from 1-800-flowers. Hmmm.  Jay pretended like he didn’t know anything and I was ultimately confused.  When I opened the box it had the most amazing Cala Lilies and Roses.  12 long stemmed Roses and 6 long stemmed Cala Lilies to be exact.  My two favorite flowers.  Yep someone had gone back on their end of the deal. It’s too late now… might as well enjoy them.  So for the last two days our home has been filled with flowery smells. 

What else is new? Not too much really. I’m 39 weeks today and was really hoping that we WOULD NOT have a Valentines baby! Looks like I got my wish… as long as he or she continues to stay in there just a few more hours. So far things look good! Monday we go in and talk to the doctor about options for when we go over the due date. Until then we are simply playing the waiting game. It’s quite boring really. Nothing too exciting by any means. This weekend is deep clean weekend… I know riveting. There’s not much else to update 🙂
