Sunrise

I woke up early enough to see the sunrise. The colors were mild but still lit up the sky with hues of blues and pinks. It was kind of refreshing. It was like having a welcoming committee when arriving to a new day. And yet the street was so quiet it was refreshing. Most days do not start out so calm. 

Lately I just feel busy. We’ve been remodeling the bathroom, fixing the garage, and trying to prepare for baby! Our dining room is filled with the contents of the garage…and to be completely honest it’s making my brain go a little crazy every time I look at it. Hopefully by next week everything will be in its rightful place and our home will feel like it is back to normal again! 

Yesterday the garage was completed 😍. It just needs to dry! It was a big thing crossed off of the to-do-list! The cabinets in the bathroom are a little over half done! I think by next week they will all be done… but maybe I am just being ambitious. 

One of our neighbors came over today and gave Arabella a bunch of new little books and puzzles! She is having so much fun with them. I think it made her feel special. She’s been having a rough week and I’m sure it’s because of all of the changes she sees and feels are going on around her. 

Yesterday was the 3 week mark until baby boy arrives! It’s been fun hearing everyone’s suggestions for his name… though nothing is sticking out to us as a perfect fit. I’m thinking we are going to have to see his face before anything is decided. I can hardly believe how quickly time is passing by. 

I got a call today that my breast pump was shipped from insurance and will be here in 1-3 days! I ended up getting the Hygeia Enjoye because I still have some pieces from my last pump that I can switch out. I’m hoping it works as well as the last one. If not hopefully I can find the last one in storage somewhere and be able to use it. Thank heavens insurance is going to pay for it! $200 is $200.

I’m going to pause this post for a bit. It’s 2:30 and I have a doctors appointment soon. I’ll post more when I get back!

Well I went to my appointment and the wait was really long. We got called in 45 minutes after the office closed and then waited for the doctor. An hour and 20 minutes later we were out of there. No new news. Measuring on time and we are still planning for the scheduled delivery on May 17. Only two more appointments before we go in for the C-section! I guess that’s all the news we have for now 🙂
