3.5 months left…
I somehow forgot how intense it was to plan for a baby… I realized that I am getting really close to my 3rd trimester. Yikes. It’s going by super slow and super fast at the same time. This kid doesn’t even have a name on the radar yet. We were the same way with Ara so I have no doubt he will end up with one that fits him. I think I watched Scandal a little too much because I really liked the name Fitzgerald. Jason was not a fan lol.
Thursday I will be 24 weeks and we will schedule the delivery date. We already know where we will be delivering (It’s like 10 min from the house) but on Thursday we will know when. Things are getting real 
Nesting has started big time! I have made a few lists of things I need and about a bazillion lists of things I want. Amazon had a free welcome box if we ordered at least $10 off of the registry (it will get here tomorrow). I just ordered the bath tub because we got rid of the one we used for Ara. YAY something purchased! I can’t wait to see what is in the welcome box from amazon! It’s like a grab bag. I really hope I randomly get the swaddle blanket because those are amazing. Especially in AZ because they are so light weight and can double as a nursing cover.
We randomly have bought a few outfits here and there. Goodwill was having 80% off orange tags so I went in search of baby boy clothes with orange tags. We got a onesie for 20 cents and pair of shorts for 40 cents. Much to my surprise 90% of the baby clothes were all girl! Like they couldn’t even pretend to be neutral. We’ve also done a little clearance shopping at walmart and target. I think we have like 6 outfits now. Most of them are 9 months but I don’t care because the price was right. 4 of the outfits we let Arabella pick out all by herself. She keeps talking about her baby “broder”.
We haven’t purchased any of the big things yet because I’m hoping we can find them at a resale shop or in a barter group. If I can save a few dollars here or there I’ll be excited. We are still debating between the Arms Reach Co-sleeper and the Halo Bassinet. I think we are leaning towards the Halo but just slightly. I also want the mommaroo glider but refuse to pay $200 on a baby swing… that just seems a little cray cray. So if I can find it used at a reasonable price then I’ll go with that option. If I don’t find it I have back up options I added to the registry just in case.
I created several registries because about 6 weeks before the due date they give a coupon for 15% off things on your registry. So if there is a cute outfit I want or I still need some diapers or butt paste I can use it towards that. I’ll take what discounts I can get!
Nesting is starting to get out of control haha. Luckily the morning sickness keeps the spending at bay!
It’s crazy how time is flying by. Eventually I will need to pack the hospital bag but since this one will have a scheduled date I wont need to for a little bit.
