Our Big Little Guy

Our little guy is getting so big! We had his one month checkup and he is officially 9lbs and half an ounce. It’s weight gain progress. He is still underweight as far as averages and percentiles go but he is a little over average height.

His next appointment will be at 2 months and he will have to get a bunch of vaccinations. This time he only had to get his second round of hep B. Arabella told the doctor he didn’t want a shot. It was pretty adorable actually. She was concerned for her baby brother!

She is such a great big sister! And she genuinely adores her brother. She always wants to hold him and help out with him.

She is overprotective of him and turns into a bulldog when anyone gets to close and is t family. She likes to tell people that “that’s my baby brother and you can’t touch him.” It’s difficult to not laugh some days.

It’s crazy how much time goes by when normal everyday life is happening! I feel really lucky most days. I know I am extremely blessed to have these two in my life!

We have some pretty big plans coming up! Monday I have a doctors appointment to see if I’m cleared to be a normal human again! My stomach is still pretty tender but I can officially pick things up off the floor now without feeling like I am ripping in two. I’m excited to possibly be able to go swimming soon… since it has been consistently over 120 recently!

Tuesday Jason has a dental appointment! But the busiest that we will be is playing catch up on cleaning! We have so much to do!

Before we know it the 4th of July will be here and we will be traveling like crazy (on a budget of course). But we are excited to get out and about!

After the 4th who knows what our plans are! We are really trying to enjoy this time as a family and create some awesome memories!

  1. THANKS for the updates. Elijah is a darling hand-some son and Arabella is such a protective adorable big sister. They look so similiar and appear to be very happy too.

We love all of your family…Ben/Pat C
