Week 4… almost a Month!!!

It is official… we’ve reached week 4! This means that the one month mark is right around the corner. Saturday is the big day! I can’t believe it’s been almost a month. We’ve been busy trying to find a schedule. 

I’ve been pumping a little more due to discomfort. Except at night and then we nurse. Elijah is mostly sleeping well… he’s just on a flipped schedule. He thinks night is day and day is night. 

Our big guy started holding his head up for small amounts when he was about 2 weeks but now he can hold his head up for long amounts of time! He can move his body on the floor by pushing his legs around. He’s getting so strong!

And his big sister still adores him… but he’s not so sure about her. She just likes to hug him and kiss him more than he would like. 

We took them to the splash pad last week! Arabella had a blast but Elijah just slept most of the time! 

The next day was Sunday and we decided that we needed to get out of the house and go for a drive. Originally we were just going to head up to Peach Springs where the air is cooler and we could just enjoy some time outside the house. Here are a few photos from our fun trip… 

Elijah went on his very first hike to Horseshoe bend! He was a complete trooper the whole time! 

We were so close to the border… we couldn’t help but cross! And it was getting late so we decided to crash at a hotel before heading back the next day! 

… and now we are home!

Yes… I will be taking one month photos this weekend ♥️♥️♥️ and I’m sure I’ll do a new blog post about it! After this weekly posts will be rare and I’ll likely switch to monthly! We do have some travel coming up in the near future so I’m hoping to have more to say!
