The Ocean…

We wanted to re-visit a lot of the spots we did with Arabella so we stated off on our fun little journey. We arrived in Valencia late Thursday night. The next day we decided to go see the Big Love houses for fun. We are nerds like that… we enjoy visiting the sites where our shows were filmed. We even parked our car where Bill used to park his!
After our short stop we headed up North to Port Hueneme Beach Park. This is Jason’s favorite California beach. It doesn’t hurt that there is free parking close by. OR that the nearby railroad tracks are where the Delorean in Back to the Future was ran over by a train!

We enjoyed the cool water on our toes and then headed out! Our next step was the Tar pits!
And then Urban Lights (it’s in the same area). If you are ever in LAX I really recommend taking an evening to go and see this cool piece of work!
Our next day was spent driving more south. We ended up visiting the Day Break house… yes we nerded out again! Arabella called it the Hopper House. I think it was very fitting! It’s actually really close to the beach we used to frequent when we lived in Cerritos. It’s walking distance from Bixby Park.

Jason and I had a date night later in the evening so Arabella could have Grammy and Grampy to herself while Mommy and Daddy could enjoy some quiet time! After dinner we investigate the local Christian Bookstore that was going out of business and were able to find Nefarious on discount!!!! Earlier in the month we found Sex + Money on ebay so we are very excited to have them for our collection! We got in kinda late and were able to sleep in the next day. But our adventure was hardly over!
Sunday we decided to visit the Dooney outlet down south and then we headed south to San Diego! We were going to go to CiCi’s pizza for diner but found out it had been closed. So instead we headed to Coronado to visit the spot where we were married! The actual location was covered by waves because of the time but we all really enjoyed ourselves.
We had a long drive home but made it! We dropped our rental car off at the airport and then took an Uber home. Finally at about 4 am we were able to get ready for bed. Monday was a long day and neither Jason or I wanted to leave the house so I ordered this weeks groceries and had Walmart deliver them. It’s been a busy few weeks. I can’t believe we only have 5 more until our little guy is here! Luckily we are “mostly” prepared… minus the little stuff that I need to get my butt in gear and get. But I don’t want to go shopping lol… so I need to grab some forced motivation and just get it done!
