Happy 2015
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s been a busy time for us. I’ve been editing my last batch of photos from shoots I did this year. It’s been a fun year but I’ve decided to officially sell the camera and get back to working out and just being with my family. My goal this year is to be on the computer/ electronics less and spend more one on one time with my family away from certain devices. We’ll see how that goes. It’s kinda nice to unplug sometimes. Snuggles are really amazing when you don’t have a phone in your hand.
My sweet girl has a lot of personality. She’s really excited about every tiny thing. She’s started screetching when excited. It’s not my favorite thing but I’m just enjoying her wonder.
Christmas Eve Jay got off work early and we drove up to Sunflower to have a little fun in the snow. We bundled the girl up and went about on our adventure. We then went back to the condo, lit a fire, and waited for the ball to drop AZ time. We toasted with sparkling cider… even Arabella got in with her sippy cup. We gave her some very watered down cider. But she seemed to enjoy it.
We rang in the new year with kisses to go around. Then we spent a little time together just hanging out as a family. These days things are pretty low key. They aren’t by any means perfect but life isn’t bad by any means.
Our little one is now walking full speed, terrorizing the cat, and into everything… even things I didn’t know existed. And paper has become my worst enemy. She thinks all paper is some kind of snack 🙁 So we have to constantly police the place. She’s our little Dilopho-Raptor. Yes we did create a hybrid dinosaur. She sounds so cute but BAM… can be distructacon in no time flat. I think by the time she is 18 we’ll have written our own dictionary based on her mad skills.
Her love for beeping the nose has progressed daily and now she likes to beep her toys noses and the cats nose (Jake does not appreciate this). She still hates wearing socks or shoes or tights or anything that covers her feet. She also recently has started hating hats and bows :/ I knew it wouldn’t last long but I still force her to wear them.
She can say several words now: mama, dada, car, tree, num num, yeah, clap, and a few others that I can’t remember. It’s exciting to see her grow but it’s sad at the same time. The other day I got out her outfit from the hospital and could hardly believe how tiny she was just 10 months ago. She is looking less and less like a baby every day and more and more like a toddler. It’s crazy. Now she’s so independent, wants to do everything all by herself, and has a HUGE personality. There is no mistaking that she is her own tiny little person. <3
