Happy April!
I can hardly believe that April is here! It’s been such a crazy ride and time is flying on by. Arabella has almost grown out of one of her sleepers now. And she can fit into some of her 3 month clothing. It’s crazy how time feels like it is speeding on up.
This week when we went to church we had to leave the main area pretty quickly because Arabella got fussy. We found out that the church has a nursing room with a live feed to the sermon. It’s kinda nice. A random mom told us about it… which I am grateful for!
Before church this week we ran to shane co. to get our rings cleaned, plated, and resized and then headed to a thrift store that was having a deal. You could fill up a bag with as much stuff as you wanted for $8. Jay didn’t seem very excited but I was. I washed it up and then organized it by size. Figure whatever we get now we don’t have to worry about later.
Arabella has started smiling … and not just the gassy smiles either. Though she doesn’t like to take photos. She looks away or scowls when she sees the camera (phone). She’s not a fan of being photographed. We make her take them any… and eventually we’ll catch a smile.
Not too much else has been going on. I’ve had some pretty intense back and hip pain. The other day it made me throw up and some days it’s a lot worse than others. Luckily I have a doctors appointment set for next Monday. I hope they can help find some solution because I would like to be able to carry my daughter for more than five minutes. It stinks having to have her in the stroller or in her swing or not getting things done. Sometimes things just don’t get done because I would rather sit down and hold her than put her in her bassinet and let her scream it out. She isn’t a fan of being alone or being sat down… and she will scream for hours if someone isn’t holding her or sitting right next to her. I’m not a fan of letting her “cry it out” anyway. I feel like a mean mommy if she’s crying and I am not trying to make it “better”. So hopefully the doctor will have some solutions.
Still enjoying all your information and pictures. What beautiful little girl you have.
Will pray the doctor can find out what is wrong with your back and hip and your pain will quickly go away.
Love & Blessings,
Rosie
Thank you!!! <3
I hated people telling me to.let them cry it out. I never could, I always felt like it was abuse. They are only little for a short time. When they get older your arms ache to hold them and then independence is what they want. Stop enjoy and love on her any time you want too. Don’t listen to any one but your instincts. Your baby, your life your decisions. Always go with your gut instincts.
I know 🙁 She’s too little to know what it means. Makes me sad when people tell me that I am teaching her to be clingy
My dear, Bella so recently was apart of you. Yes she is in need to be close to you. Give her time to become accustomed to the distance birth has created. You so understand the need of your daughter.
