Wedding planning

Wedding planning… Oh the joys. We found a beautiful place on Coronado island with minimal decorations and pure simplicity. Except it’s not quite as simple as it seems. It’s a destination wedding which means it is a lot more difficult for family and friends to be able to make it. My family in particular are struggling with finances and I feel bad about having it so far away from home. But it’s so hard to find something that cheap in Oregon that the both of us agree on. So we both settled for California on the anniversary of the day we got engaged. Everything is so beautiful but I still feel guilty that most of my family will not be able to make it. I wish there was more I could do but it’s so expensive and we are already on a tight budget. This alone adds the stress to the wedding planning. Sigh. I just want things to be simple for everyone… But that seems to be impossible.
