California has so much to offer… lush green parks, lemon trees, glittering sands with gorgeous ocean views, and places to spot seashells and other treasures. I will never forget the time where I was blessed enough to live there. Southern California brought beauty back into my life and though I am saddened to say goodbye I feel unbelievably blessed that I was able to spend even a splash of a moment there. Today I have officially been in Arizona for a week. It’s been a challenging experience with too many surprises to count but I will continue to remember how well Southern California felt. The fresh sun shining down like gold waves upon my face, our little kit-kat basking in the warmth of the day, sand between our toes, cold water rushing upon our ankles… and I will cherrish every moment I spent in paradise. Because… Life is too short to focus on the past. Instead I will embrace whatever the future holds… because I know that there is still beauty in the world, even if I can’t always see it.
