Hey again<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in April, we picked up a tomato plant from the church that we purchased to help some of the kid’s youth group out… anyway, we were afraid that the plant would quickly die.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m happy to report that over a month later the plant is still living! Here is a picture of it in a natural habitat (at least as far as we are concerned). We let the plant outside sometimes for sun or rain and when it doesn’t rain we water it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second photo is of the Phoenix Suns game 7 versus the Nuggets. They dropped the ball (figuratively and literally). Blown out in a game they could have won, but didn’t show up to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the weekend we decided to go to the beach. Why?! Well… despite not needing a reason to, it was a warm 90 degrees in Portland, so we thought to cool down at the beach. Here are some photos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Truth be told – the beach was almost the same temperature as it was in Portland (not super regular for that to happen) and so on a warm day at a beach the kids decided to get wet (despite being told we had no change of clothes with us. Ah well, kids will be kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the start of the next week, the warm weather was still with us. About 85 degrees give or take. Since we had some moisture in the area we had the rare showing of thunderstorms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thunderstorms are magical. Not only do they cool things down rapidly, but they also give a nice show of lightning and thunder. I’ve always considered thunder to be a little taste of God’s sound system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We took a trip to the gorge to chase on cell, and the temp went from 87 down to 65 in a matter of minutes. Then we took a trip to the Vancouver area to chase another (bigger) storm cell and it didn’t disappoint. Once we were done we took a leisurely way back to the house and were captivated by the beauty around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
