so this is the first day.<\/font><\/div>\n

I am typing up a blog as I wait for the shower to free up.  I don’t know.  Today has been something else.<\/font><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Arrived at the airport with an hour to spare.  I don’t know how but I managed to get through it pretty seamlessly.  We boarded at :30 and we were in the air.  Soon after they served coffee and these morning bags of pretzels and some type of cannabin type chip.  It tasted good, and the coffee was Seattle’s best.  It started my morning off right.  In addition to this – the flight attendant came back not soon after that and asked if anyone wanted refills etc.<\/font><\/div>\n

The kind of surprised me because in today’s news the airline business is trying to cut costs at all corners.  Anyway I asked for another bag and they gave me 2 more bags plus another coffee.  Sweet deal.<\/p>\n

I started off my day in Portland by arriving 30 minutes sooner than expected, then by my ride telling me she was engaged to a guy she has been dating exclusively for about 2 weeks. Then we went back to the apartment where I am staying but not before stopping at Starbucks for a cup of coffee.<\/font><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

 <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

After taking a random trip to a Verizon store to check out phones we headed off to the school.  I was going to hang out with Deniese but she had neglected to tell me that she had a final, was going to study for 6 hours then take her one or two hour final.  That’s fine.  so from 12 to 6 she was studying.<\/font><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

 <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Micah came a little after 1pm and said hi for about 20 minutes while me and Deniece were waiting for her study buddy to show up.<\/font><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

 <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

I also had a chance to meet up with Amanda a little later.  We went to red robin, although I wasn’t that hungry at all (despite having not really eaten a meal yet).  I had a good time talking and catching up with her.  She is funny when she talks about her boyfriend.  Oh to be smitten and in love….<\/div>\n

We came back to campus and not soon after that she wanted to go get coffee with me.  So we went and got some Stump  town coffee.  Coffee # 4 for the day and headed back to Cascade.<\/div>\n

It was different being on campus.  I didn’t really want to be on campus.  I wanted to see the people who I wanted to see and nobody else.  I don’t like the judgmental glances or assumptions that I know are going on.  The whole thing kind of gave me a pit in my stomach.  bleh..  I don’t miss people looking straight past me.<\/div>\n

I talked to Rikki for a little while I waited for Ruth to show up.  Then a little after 6 she arrived.  We couldn’t really decide what to do so we stood in the Cascade parking lot for a good 20 minutes.  Then I got a call from Deniese saying that she was done and wanted to go eat.  So we all went to burger king.  Then came back and watched some movie called Annapolis.  Then everyone got tired and went to bed.<\/div>\n

It was nice to see my friends.  I still have yet to really meet up with Lauren and Rebecca in more than a “hello” and “goodbye” kind of meeting.<\/div>\n

tomorrow I am going to go to the airport and rent a car.  Then I’ll go visit my brother and my sister in law.  that should be good… Ruth might come along.. she isn’t sure yet.<\/div>\n

anyway, I gotta go shower.<\/div>\n
