Facing elimination we (the Yankees) took the field. Just when it looked like this game was going to turn out like the rest, the Yankees kicked it up a notch. Johnny Damon, in the bottom of the 5th hit a three run home run. To top it off – Roger Clemens wasn’t pitching well. Rookie Phil Hughes came in and pitched some 3 and 1\/2 innings with no score from the Indians during that time. This was the turn around we needed. The players seemed more relaxed and confident.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Yes, you don’t have to tell me – I know it’s just one game. Next game is tomorrow- and the stakes are just as high.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
This game made me breathe a sigh of relief. At least.. for the rest of the day.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
